Baimajian, a national 4A-rated tourist attraction and the main peak of the Dabie Mountains, is located in Taiyang Township, Huoshan County of Lu'an City, about 90 kilometers away from Huoshan County seat. It is the highest peak (1,777m) of the Dabie Mountains and also known as White Horse Peak (Baimajian in Chinese) because the peak looks like a horse and is surrounded by white clouds all year round. There are abundant flora and fauna resources in the mountain, such as pseudolarix amabilis, cyclocarya paliurus, taxus chinensis, and giant salamander.
