In 2021, the added value of industrial enterprises with annual main business income of more than 20 million yuan in Lu'an increased by 15.5% year-on-year, 6.6 percentage points higher than the provincial average, ranking third in the province.

Projects lead "strong kinetic energy". Deepen and solidify the key industrial project “Building Trees into Forests” project, 323 new contracts were signed, 319 new projects were started, 29.67 billion yuan of investment was completed, and 253 new ones were put into production throughout the year. In the whole year, 79 projects were put into operation in the same year and turned into industrial enterprises with a main business income of more than 20 million yuan in that year, of which 15 enterprises achieved an output value of over 100 million yuan in the year. Implemented the project of "Old Trees Give Birth to New Branches" for large-scale industrial enterprises, and 362 enterprises implemented 468 technological transformation projects, and the investment in technological transformation increased by 13.3% year-on-year.

Extend the chain and supplement the chain to "strengthen the muscles and bones". Implement industrial chain extension and reinforcement actions, actively integrate into the Hefei metropolitan area, and connect with the Yangtze River Delta industrial chain. The equipment manufacturing industry led by Yingliu Group and the iron-based material industry led by Lu'an Iron and Steel Holding Group both reached 30 billion yuan in output value, driving the growth of all industries above designated size by 2.6 and 6.5 percentage points respectively. The output value of the electronic information industry led by GENRPRO exceeded 15 billion yuan, driving the growth of the industry with a main business income of more than 20 million yuan for the whole year by 2%. With the rapid layout of the new energy vehicle industry represented by Mingtian Hydrogen Energy Technology, Lu'an has become the only city in Anhui Province and even the central China to be shortlisted for the first batch of national fuel cell vehicle demonstration application city clusters.

For industries with an annual revenue of more than 20 million, the ranking of their total added value increased by 2 places compared with the previous year.
