From January to April, Lu'an signed 148 new investment projects with individual investments of RMB 100 million or more, with a combined planned investment of RMB 32.888 billion, representing year-on-year increases of 8% and 24.4%, respectively.

Led by strong leadership, officials at all levels have actively stepped out to attract investment. Since the beginning of this year, municipal leaders have taken the lead in conducting investment promotion activities in Jiangsu, Guangdong, Shanghai, and other regions, creating strong momentum and fostering a vibrant investment attraction environment through high-level engagement.

Officials in charge of counties, districts, and provincial-level development zones have also taken the initiative to conduct targeted outreach and face-to-face investment promotion efforts. Collectively, they have carried out 136 investment promotion activities, visited 216 enterprises and institutions, and engaged with 195 potential projects.

Industry-focused task forces have strengthened industrial chains through professional and targeted investment promotion efforts. These task forces formulated and issued their 2026 work plans, focusing on industrial cultivation, coordinated investment attraction, and industrial mapping research for key industries. Plans are also underway to establish an expert advisory panel to leverage external expertise in industrial research and project recruitment.

The task forces have proactively traveled to identify investment opportunities and conduct business negotiations, carrying out 25 investment promotion missions and visiting 39 enterprises and institutions.

Optimized services and closed-loop coordination have accelerated project implementation. Lu'an has conducted comprehensive reviews of project progress and business needs, using district-level investment promotion meetings, site visits, and consultation sessions to closely track and coordinate 83 key project leads, 48 projects that have yet to break ground, and 128 projects not yet included in official statistical reporting.

These efforts have helped expedite project implementation and construction. To date, 12 projects have commenced construction, while 36 additional projects have established construction schedules. A full-cycle service mechanism has been put in place, covering the entire process from project signing and implementation to inclusion in official statistics, ensuring seamless support throughout the project lifecycle.
