In the cold winter season, villagers at the shiitake cultivation base in Zhufan Village, Tangjiahui Town, Jinzhai County, are busy harvesting fresh mushrooms. The base, built and operated by Anhui Lverjia Foods Co., Ltd., has adopted an innovative poverty-alleviation model of “Postal Service + Company + Cooperative + Village Collective + Farmers.”

So far, the initiative has engaged more than 100 households in cultivating over one million mushroom logs, increasing each household’s annual income by about 15,000 yuan. The humble shiitake has truly become an “umbrella of prosperity” for local residents.
