This year, the Municipal Housing and Urban-Rural Development Bureau has adhered to the principles of balancing development and safety, upholding bottom-line standards, improving quality, and promoting growth with higher standards and more effective measures. These efforts have significantly improved the quality and safety of construction projects, enhancing the public’s sense of fulfillment, happiness, and security. Throughout the year, 65 projects were awarded the municipal “Gaocheng Cup” for excellence, 9 projects received the provincial “Huangshan Cup,” and 1 project was honored with the “China Steel Structure Gold Award.” Additionally, one new enterprise achieved the highest-grade qualification in the industry. Overall, the safety production situation in the housing and urban development sector across the city remains stable.
The Municipal Housing and Urban-Rural Development Bureau has actively responded to the public’s evolving expectations for housing quality, shifting from concerns about “availability” to a focus on “excellence.” With the goals of designing, constructing, and delivering high-quality homes, the bureau has implemented the “three reinforcements”: strengthening governance at the source, robust oversight during construction, and stringent acceptance inspections. In terms of delivery, the city has conducted 49 public housing inspection service activities and held 54 “Homeowner Open Day” events this year, benefiting 32,363 households and receiving widespread praise from homebuyers. Focusing on the objectives of “no occupancy in unsafe housing” and “no operations with risks, no risks in operations,” the city has implemented a checklist-based rectification process for addressing safety hazards in self-built houses. To date, 10 rounds of special safety inspections on self-built houses have been completed. Efforts have been made to refine standards, streamline regulatory processes, and enhance institutional mechanisms. The city has also strengthened its environmental defenses against construction dust, ensuring that dust control measures on construction sites are effectively implemented.
Moving forward, the city will adopt higher standards, stricter requirements, and more practical measures to continuously enhance quality and safety supervision in the housing and urban development sector, contributing to the high-quality development of urban housing and infrastructure.
