Our city has proactively engaged in five transportation integration working meetings and four counterpart discussions with Hefei, reaching a consensus on 41 transportation integration initiatives, including transportation infrastructure construction, service guarantees, and measures against illegal activities.

Road Connectivity and Intercommunication. Focusing on transportation project construction to enhance the economic cohesion between Hefei and Lu’an, the G40 Hefei-Lu’an-Yeji Highway has completed its expansion from four to eight lanes. The G4222 Hexian-Xiangyang Expressway's Lu’an section, spanning 170 kilometers, is fully under construction, with the Hefei section progressing rapidly. The G3611 Hefei-Huoshan-Fuyang Expressway is planned to be fully operational by September 2024.

Convenient and Beneficial Transportation for the People. The two cities have jointly opened six bus routes in neighboring areas, deploying 26 vehicles with 119 daily departures, serving an average of over 5,830 passengers daily. The customized bus service from Shucheng Hangbu to Hefei Binhu operates 44 round trips daily, reducing the commuting time for 400 employees from two hours to one hour, making it a typical case of the province's "One Change, Two Benefits" initiative.

Joint Law Enforcement and Collaboration. Seven joint overloading enforcement actions have been organized, resulting in 4,390 illegal transport vehicles being investigated, 93 overloaded vehicles being punished, 60,100 tons of cargo being unloaded, and 10,100 traffic violation points being recorded by the police. Additionally, a special cross-regional campaign against illegal road transport operations has been conducted, penalizing 111 illegal operating vehicles.
