Recently, the final of the Central China Geographical Indication Brand Cultivation Innovation Competition for the four provinces (Hubei, Shanxi, Anhui, and Jiangxi) was held in Wuhan, Hubei Province. Encompassing various fields such as agricultural products, handicrafts, and specialty foods, a total of 61 geographical indication brands entered the final competition. Among these, "Lu'an Guapian," "Huoshan Shihu," and "Jinzhai Reishi" were awarded gold medals.

Since the competition launched in October of this year, spanning two months, it combined both offline events and online live streaming. The competition awarded 21 gold medals and 40 silver medals. "Lu'an Guapian" from Anhui Lu'an Guapian Tea Co., Ltd., "Huoshan Shihu" from Huoshan Tianxia Zeyu Biotechnology Development Co., Ltd., and "Jinzhai Reishi" from Anhui Kangxi Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. achieved gold medals in the "Central China Geographical Indication Brand Cultivation Innovation Competition for the Four Central Provinces (Hubei, Shanxi, Anhui, and Jiangxi)."

To further strengthen geographical indication brands and fully leverage their role in promoting the development of regional characteristic industries and rural revitalization, and to enhance high-level interaction and communication among provincial geographical indication brands, the Hubei Provincial Intellectual Property Office jointly organized the Central China Geographical Indication Brand Support for High-Quality Development Conference and Brand Cultivation Innovation Competition, along with the Market Supervision Administration (Intellectual Property Office) of Shanxi, Anhui, and Jiangxi provinces, aiming to integrate resources, generate collective efforts, enhance the visibility, reputation, and influence of geographical indications, and promote high-quality development of geographical indication industries in the Yangtze River middle reaches urban agglomeration.
