Recently, the Quality Supervision and Inspection Center of Dendrobium Huoshanense & Chinese Medical Materials located in Huoshan County has passed check and acceptance. Experts participating in the work were organized by Anhui Provincial Market Supervision Administration and the Centher was officially put into use.

In December 2017, Huoshan County launched the investigation and assessment of setting up Anhui Quality Supervision and Inspection Center of Dendrobium Huoshanense & Chinese Medical Materials. In March 2021, the Center passed an on-site assessment of CMA (China Metrology Certification) qualification by experts of provincial level. Currently, the Center boasts of a laboratory area of about 2500 square meters, of which the P2 laboratory area is approximately 400 square meters. Additionally, there are 46 sets of large-scale equipment and devices, among which high-performance liquid chromatograph, gas chromatograph, atomic absorption spectrometers, etc. are all imported with original packaging, and the core equipment ranks top in China. The newly-built molecular biology authentication room of the Center can quickly identify the genuine medicinal materials of Dendrobium Huoshanense and fake products.
